The Golden Age Hotel is 40 minutes away from the El.Venizelos airport by taxi which costs around € 40. By car, follow the Attiki Avenue to Elefsina and take exit 10 (Marathonos-Mesoghion) which turns to Michalakopoulou street. Two km further you will see the Golden Age Hotel on your right hand side. You can also take the X95 bus from the airport and get off at Mavilli bus station. You can also also use the metro and get off at Megaro Mousikis station. The hotel is 5 minutes walking distance.
The hotel’s area:
The hotel is located in one of the most highly secured areas of Athens, near the Music Hall and the USA Embassy, with lots of coffee shops and restaurants around the area. Parthenon and the Athens central shopping centre as well as the main square of Athens (Constitution Square) are in ½ hour walking distance. You can also use the public bus (5 minutes walking distance at Mavilli Square) or the Metro (2 minutes walking distance at Megaro Musikis stop).
Alternatively you can enjoy a nice stroll on one of the most well kept avenues of Athens, Vasilissis Sophias, where some of the most important buildings, monuments and Museums of Athens are located.
The Kolonaki area is a high end area with nice shops and exclusive boutiques. It is located in 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. As you walk on Vasilissis Sophias Avenue towards Constitution Square, you turn right on Patriarchou Ioakim Street.
